Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TrueCarbon Nexus platform operated by AshTerra Sciences. By creating an account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You may register as a Project Developer, Credit Buyer, Verifier (VVB) or Researcher subject to the requirements of each role. Researchers are admitted by invitation and must be affiliated with a recognised academic institution or R&D body. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Use of the platform

The platform aggregates project documentation, dMRV data, registry metadata and AI-assisted analyses. Outputs (including integrity scores, optimisation suggestions and PDD drafts) are decision-support tools, not certifications. They do not replace registry-required validation or verification by an accredited VVB.

3. Content & IP

You retain ownership of project data you upload. You grant AshTerra Sciences a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display that content to the extent needed to operate the platform and provide services to you and any parties you authorise.

4. AI & data accuracy

AI-generated outputs, including Methodology Mapping and the Hypothesis Algorithm scores, are produced by automated systems trained on public methodology corpora. We do not warrant the absence of errors or omissions, and you remain responsible for confirming the suitability of any output before relying on it.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account in the event of breach of these terms, fraud, regulatory violation, or non-payment of fees (where applicable). You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AshTerra Sciences is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delhi unless otherwise required by applicable law.
